She received her BS in Film/Television Production from New York University, and is currently pursuing certifications in flower essence therapy and medical astrology.

A licensed marriage and family therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience practicing integrative psychotherapy and counseling in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is also a doctor and scholar of East-West Psychology which brings together the fields of contemporary Western psychology with ancient spiritual teachings from the East as well as indigenous wisdom traditions. Her doctoral research was on “The Psychology of Spiritual Awakening in Advaita Vedanta” which presents the ancient teachings of the Vedas in a modern psychological context. Loppon Yudron Wangmo is a teacher and author in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. Her specialty is helping people bring meditation/spiritual practice into their everyday lives. She began her in-depth meditation and study program in the early nineties and completed the traditional three-year retreat under Lama Tharchin Rinpoche. Lama Pema Dorje Rinpoche authorized her to teach.
